SAT/ACT instructor


– Ridiculously high SAT/ACT scores (over 1350 on SAT Reading + Math, or over 32 on ACT)
– Bachelor of Arts/Science degree from a highly reputable university (degree in progress is acceptable).
– We are especially interested in collegiate athletes. True passion for teaching or coaching.


Is prior SAT / ACT tutoring experience necessary?
No, but it’s a plus. You must be comfortable tutoring all sections of the SAT and ACT.

Is this job part-time or full-time?
Part-time. The number of hours / week varies throughout the year from 6 hrs — 30hrs/ week. It also depends on the how much the instructor would like to work.

What are the hours?
The available hours in summer are 9am to 5pm Mon — Thurs, and for the school year are Mon — Thurs 12 to 8pm & Sunday 12m — 6pm.  The ability to work on Sunday is essential! You must commit to working a full school year.

4. What is the compensation?
The position is comprised of both individual and small group tutoring. For the one:one tutoring, the pay range is $20 – $30/hour, and for small group tutoring, the range is $40 – $50 / hour.
