Who should attend?
Seniors who would like to get a huge head start on applications BEFORE school starts should attend Boot Camp #1. Boot Camp #2 is designed for students who get started on the process and realize they need help. Both boot camps give students a strong leg up in the college application process.
What will students complete?
At a minimum, students create a college list, develop an application strategy, complete the Common Application, and write a polished main essay. The main essay can often be used or adapted to other essay prompts. Additionally, many students complete supplemental essays and UC essays.
When are the boot camps offered?
Boot Camp #1: Monday, July 24th –Thursday, July 27th, 2017. The hours are 9am- 2pm, Monday through Wednesday, and 9am – 12pm on Thursday.
Boot Camp #2: Friday, September 29th – Sunday, October 1st, 2017. The hours are 5pm – 9pm on Friday, and 9am – 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
How does it work?
In small groups and individualized breakout sessions, students receive expert guidance for the all-important college essays, and learn exactly what it takes to make an application great.
Where are the boot camps?
At Future Focused. 31401 Rancho Viejo Road, Suite 101, San Juan Capistrano.
What happens when I leave?
You will walk away with nearly final essay(s) and an individualized application plan, housed on our incredible application management software system, which you will have access to for months after the workshop. This will enable you to manage your deadlines and make sure nothing falls through the cracks in the process.
What is the cost?
$1000 (capped at five students per bootcamp)
